The LASEK surgery which is performed combined with PRK methods under local anesthesia to reshape the cornea by detaching the epithelium and laser is passed to reshape the part of the cornea.

The PRK method is a laser surgery which takes about 10 minutes to readjust the shape of the cornea. The Radial Keratotomy is the traditional invasive surgical procedure for reshaping the cornea. This surgery is today replaced with non-invasive surgery.
